1-to-1 Sports Psychology
Private, tailored sessions that start with what’s actually going on for you, then build practical tools around it.
Sports psychology that starts with you, not just your performance.
Sound familiar?
You train hard and prepare well, but your performance doesn’t always show it
Your body tenses, your mind races, or you go flat when it matters most
You’ve tried “just stay positive” and “just focus”, and neither has lasted
Your sense of self rides on your last result, and it’s exhausting
You’re plateauing and can’t tell whether the problem is physical, mental, or something in between
You don’t need to be fixed. You need space to understand how you work under pressure, and someone alongside you while you do it.
What 1-to-1 sessions are
Private online sessions tailored to you, your sport and what you’re facing right now.
There’s no set script and no one-size-fits-all mental skills package. We start with what’s actually going on for you, then build practical tools around it.
Sessions can support you with:
Pre-competition nerves and nervous system regulation
Confidence and self-doubt
Performance plateaus
Returning from injury, setbacks or time out
Identity and life outside sport
Pressure, perfectionism and fear of failure
Feeling burnt out from your sport
How I work
Person-centred. You’re the expert on your own experience. I won’t tell you what you “should” feel or hand you a generic toolkit. I’ll listen closely, ask good questions, and help you find what works for you, in a space where you don’t need to perform.
Somatic. Pressure lives in the body as well as the mind. We work with breath, sensation and awareness of what your body is telling you, so you can recognise and regulate your stress response in training and in competition.
Together, these mean you’re not just learning techniques. You’re building a deeper understanding of yourself so that you can enjoy your sport and perform at your best.

It varies. We’ll review as we go, and there’s no pressure to commit long term.
You can either book one session at a time, or book the 3 session package.
-
No. Sports psychology sessions are not a replacement for therapy.
We may touch on topics beyond sport and performance, such as your wellbeing, identity or life outside training, because they often affect how you feel and perform. But if you need therapeutic support, I’ll help you work out the best next step and can refer you to a suitable therapy professional. We can keep working together on the sport and performance side while you receive that support.
